Sirius, The Cosmic Egg, 7-7 and 8-8

I :: Overview and Intention Setting

As always, we begin with intention setting for this Sirius Series, dedicated to this Binary star system that is believed to be our Spiritual Sun. In the lead up to the 8-8 Lion’s Gate Portal, we will be exploring Sirius through the galactic myths and magical traditions, so as to better understand the significance of this star system that represents the Divine Masculine impulse. The purpose though is to awaken the resonance of this stellar ray within our own being, so we may begin to re-member our own connections to the stars, and allow the inner wisdoms from these higher frequencies to stream through us and guide our paths forwards.

The 7-7 portal every year is when the Sun in Cancer conjunct Sirius (currently at 14° Cancer), forming an alignment that is commonly known as the Sirius Gateway. Sirius is our spiritual sun. This stargate allows us an opportunity to receive upgrades, insights and downloads from a higher dimension and strengthen our connection with our intuition and higher selves.

The 8-8 Lion’s Gate Portal occurs when the Sun in Leo aligns with the star Sirius, Orion’s belt, and the Earth. This alignment happens around July 28 to August 12, but peaks on August 8. The pyramids in Egypt are aligned to both Sirius and Orion, indicating that the ancients had been using these stargates to come into energetic alignment with the higher frequencies streaming through the stellar rays.

Working with the Solar energies over the last years, i was shown how the 7-7 and 8-8 portal connect back to Sirius, and in a flash of understanding, i had a vision that that this portal remains open after 7-7 all through to peak at 8-8 for those who feel particular resonance with this energy and seek to connect. If you resonate with either of the two Sirius stars, you may find alignment to either or both of the archetypal themes and patterns they represent. It is a beautiful time to tune into your heart center and find the connection to the essence of your light within, for only through the heart does wisdom come forth.

According to the galactic myths of the Stellar Nations, on a giant volcanic mountain on Sirius is a warm lake which resembles a cosmic womb that embraces the egg from which the pair of World Serpents were birthed. The snakes were joined at their tail, and they stretch out into the interstellar space, to encompass the celestial space of the Milky Way Galaxy. Intertwined like the dance of Shiva and Shakti, the male serpent embodies teaching and the female serpent symbolises the path of healing.

"The dark red and orange-gold glowing female serpent turned southwest, across the bridge of the Milky Way, while the male serpent, wrapped into turquoise, bluish and greenish lights headed northeast. They embraced the galactic universe and they joined again, at their heads, to create a universal unity."

Tracing the myths into the Binary system of Sirius, we’ll discover that the bigger star, Sirius A, houses the Melchizedek lineage of the 12 schools of knowledges, and many spiritual teachers had received their initiation and training here before taking their earthly form to begin this lifetime experience and continuing to teach these in whatever part of the galaxy their mission takes them. Sirius B opens to the great cosmic ocean and is one of the homes for the dolphins, and here we hear their beautiful songs reminding us of the connection to the divine and the unconditional love of the universe.

Connecting to the higher frequencies of Sirius, our spiritual sun, gives us the potentials for more epiphanies at this time, stemming from the vibrational energies of Sirius awakening the parts of our soul that echo with resonance. If you have always felt a special draw to Sirius, or have this in your chart through the filter of any of the planets, or if you’ve loved ancient civilisations like Egypt or Maya without really knowing why, you could be remembering the parts of your soul that is connected to Sirius.
